⚙️ Step-by-Step: How to Load Transport TDL
Don't know how to install this in Tally? It’s very easy. Just follow these steps:
- Open Tally Prime and press Alt + Ctrl + T to open the TDL configuration.
- Or, you can simply press F1 > TDL & Add-on and make the option Yes.
- Now find your downloaded TDL file in your computer. Right-click on it, go to Properties > Security, and copy the full path.
- Paste this path into Tally Prime and save. Done!

1. Transport Ledger Setup
Create a new transport ledger under "Sundry Creditors". Make sure the name matches the transport details in your TDL for a smooth experience.
2. E-Way Bill Integration
Just enable the "Set Alter GST Status" option. Once done, your transport details will automatically show up in the E-Way Bills.
3. Recording Payments
Record any advance, card, or bank payment easily. You can even split cash and cheque entries so there is no confusion later.
4. Try It Live
Open your Day Book (for example, on date 19-02-2024) and see how beautifully the payment and auto-freight entries are recorded.
